MLETA started in January of 2012 offering the MPTC state certified Reserve/Intermittent Police Officer's course. Since that time we have trained nearly 1000 officers from around the state in various public safety positions. Several of MLETA's instructors are statewide coordinators and curriculum writers for the MPTC. Many teach at full-time police academies around the state, as well as, instructing public safety personnel on a national level and are recognized as experts in their field by various courts.
We recently opened our own 2700 square foot facility to meet the growing needs of public safety training. The facility consist of two state of the art classrooms with large screen televisions, internet connectivity and seating for over 90 students. Along with the MPTC state certified Reserve/Intermittent Police Officer's course, we also offer Reserve In-service Training and Specialized Training for Law Enforcement professionals, as well as, various safety courses for the general public.
